How is Invisalign made?
When choosing Invisalign as your form of treatment, our dentist will first take an impression of your teeth to send them off to a lab.
This impression will be scanned into a computer which will produce a 3D model of your mouth. A computer software will model your teeth and show what the outcome of your teeth will look like after treatment is complete. If you are satisfied with the results in that case your clear aligners will be made.
Long Lasting Wear
Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign can be removed. For the most part, our dentist will recommend you use them for 22 hours, but you can remove the aligners to eat and brush your teeth. Your teeth will move slowly over time and our dentist will provide new aligners every 2 weeks. Invisalign is not a painful process, but you may feel some minor discomfort at the start of each new stage of aligners.
This is normally taken as a sign that the aligners are working and moving your teeth. You will need to visit the dentist on regular basis to monitor your progress and make any adjustments that you may need. Depending on the severity of your teeth full treatment can take from 9 to 18 months.
Clear Material & BPA Free
Invisalign is made from special plastic that will cover your teeth and help adjust them in perfect alignment. This plastic is also BPA free.
